Lauren has been a clinical social worker for nine years after graduating from the University of North Carolina with a Masters of Social Work
in 2015. She spent six years working inpatient at a local pediatric hospital providing support and guidance to families of medically complex and terminally ill children. During this time, Lauren was a strong advocate and compassionate confidante to the families dealing with new diagnoses, extended hospitalizations, anticipatory grief, and end of life care for their children. Lauren has experience providing talk therapy to teenagers and adults, and is excited to bring her client- centered and trauma-informed mindfulness therapeutic approaches to those experiencing major loss.
